Located in the Sierra Sur mountain range, Union San Pedro is a collective of eight communities south of Oaxaca city. Co-ordinated by Salomon Garcia, the association has funded demonstrative small farms to experiment with different varieties and techniques. Several coffee nurseries have been built to supply members with high quality seedlings.

This coffee is a mix of two varieties typical to Sierra Sur; Mundo Novo and Pluma Hidalgo - a variant of the typica varietal, developed just a few miles from the farms. The coffees are pulped with a hand pulper and fermented in wooden tanks before drying.

This is the third year we have bought coffee from Union San Pedro.

The carbon footprint from this coffee's journey has been offset twice.
This includes boiling your kettle to brew it.
