It is only in the past few years that Ethiopian authorites have allowed for single farmers to export their own coffees. Mensur Abahika has been at the forefront of this new wave, producing coffees on his 18 hectare farm in Kota, Gera, leading a really exciting change in Ethiopia’s coffee history.
His coffees are known to be exceptionally clean and sweet. And natural process coffee from the Jimma region, that are of high quality, are quite rare! Historically Jimma has been known for it’s low grade naturals, but Mensur really showcases what is possible when high quality procedures and proper care of processing are undertaken.

The carbon footprint from this coffee's journey has been offset twice.
This includes boiling your kettle to brew it.
