Blackcurrant - Cinder Toffee - Syrup
This coffee takes its name from the Kii River, where it is grown, in the heart of the country. The cold, fresh and fast-flowing water comes directly from the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya.
The region is known for its excellent coffee, which is grown on fertile volcanic slopes and receives abundant rainfall for coffee cultivation.
The Kii Coffee Factory was founded in 1954. Coffee cherries are supplied by 2000 active farmers with an average farm size of 0.5 to 1 hectare.
In addition to coffee cultivation, the cooperative also operates a dairy farm. The community benefits from integrated farming and a continuous cash flow.
The carbon footprint from this coffee's journey has been offset twice.
This includes boiling your kettle to brew it.
The packaging is biodegradable and recyclable.
