Ibanda Natural, Uganda
We're excited to have Ibanda back for a second season! This year it has a mellow acidity that reminds us of red berries, followed by tons of sweetness and praline notes with a syrupy mouthfeel. A very clean tasting coffee, suitable for all brewing methods.

Ibanda is a community of smallholder farmers just north of the town of Kasese, situated in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. Farmers typically have between 1 and 2 acres of land and coffee is their main crop. Omucheri and Lhwanzo (in the first picture) are brothers who have appreciated the long standing support of Agri Evolve, our sourcing partners.
Ripe, red coffee cherries are harvested daily during the harvest season, the farmers are paid in cash and the cherries taken to Bugoye Coffee Station.
Here the cherries are sorted and sun-dried. The team turns the cherries several times a day to ensure even drying, allowing full, rich flavours to develop.
The carbon footprint from this coffee's journey has been offset twice.
This includes boiling your kettle to brew it.
The packaging is biodegradable and recyclable.
Delivery is free.
One love.
