Maria Consuelo Cuervo is the owner of the farm San Gerardo located in the municipality of Apia, Risaralda.
Maria’s farm is 2,8 hectares and produces 2,500 kg of parchment every year. The farm was bought by Maria and her husband 8 years ago.
After falling in love with coffee and everything to do with it, Maria has been a coffee activist and leader in the community. Her farm uses traditional methods of processing with a fermentation of 36 hours. The coffee is then dried for 20 days on roof patios.
As Maria is in charge of processing, every batch is created perfectly.
The carbon footprint from this coffee's journey has been offset twice.
This includes boiling your kettle to brew it.
The packaging is biodegradable and recyclable.
Bike delivery or postage is included.
One love.
