Fazenda Bela Vista has more than a hundred years of coffee-growing history. It belonged to Isabela and Antônio’s grandparents, and was passe down through generations, and today they oversee the farm, and are already preparing the fourth generation. For the siblings, coffee farming is inseparable from their family history; and want to make sure they can continue the family legacy in the coffee culture. The farm preserves its centenary trees, maintaining its ecological reserve, protecting the fauna, and conserving history. The siblings are motivated to overcome the challenges imposed by climate change and want to continue investing in technology and innovation to enhance the potential the terroir of Fazenda Bela Vista can offer them.
Located in the state of Minas Gerais, South of Minas is the largest coffee supplier in Brazil; its production alone is equivalent to the production of several countries. Coffee plantations have become part of the local landscape and the main drivers of economic and social development of hundreds of small towns, generating employment, income, and wealth for thousands of small producers and their communities. In addition to the favorable terroir, Sul de Minas offers a unique experience combining tradition and modernity, and named the birthplace of specialty coffee production in Brazil.
