Specialty coffee production in Myanmar only started in 2015, but with the meticulous attention to detail of the Shwe Taung Thu farmers, climate in Ywangan and terroir of the Shan Hills we are able to bring you this exceptionally clean and bright natural coffee.

Shwe Taung Thu, meaning ‘Golden Farmer’, is a group that provides leadership, finance, technical assistance and market linkages for its members.

The production of this coffee is managed by a core group of 25 people, who have donated some of last season’s profits to the local school to support child education and daily lives.

Only the best, ripe cherries are picked and hand sorted by villagers, then spread out to dry on raised beds. With weather variations throughout the season, this takes between 11-32 days. The cherry is moved each hour to ensure even drying and a coffee bursting with fruity flavours.

The carbon footprint from this coffee's journey has been offset twice.
This includes boiling your kettle to brew it.

The packaging is biodegradable and recyclable.

Bike delivery or postage is included.

    One love.
